Newsletters to Inspire

In my newsletters I will outline a philosophy on Sales Management that worked for me and resulted in one of my salespeople nominating me for Australian Sales Manager of the Year.

The nomination was followed by several interviews with most of the questions centered around how we were able to achieve a 180% increase in hardware sales and my passion for wanting to help my team achieve success and the personal goals they set for themselves.

The presentation night was a black tie affair at the InterContinental Hotel in Sydney and the award was to be presented by none other than Tom Hopkins.

I was filled with anticipation but having seen and read about the other nominees was not hopeful of actually winning.

Tom Hopkins was unable to attend the event so he had prerecorded the announcement and in that moment when you hear the words “and the winner is” my heart sank, then I felt my wife, Jacqui’s hand take hold of mine and she helped me stand to go forward and receive the award.

One of the greatest gifts I have ever received was the pleasure of helping to shape the careers of so many men and women. Having earned the right to share their vision and then to help them achieve their goals was my greatest pleasure.

The book “Sales Management – Coaching a Winning Sales Team” is just another way of me being able to help Sales Managers and assist the next generation of sales people while my Newsletters will carry content and ideas to inspire that are not covered in my book.
